History Edible Bird's Nest
Edible bird’s nests are prized in Chinese culture due to their rarity and supposedly exquisite flavor. The official discovery is by Admiral Zheng He during his voyage to the Malay Archipelagos at the Ming Dynasty. While seeking for shelter, they found the nest of swiftlets inside the island cave. Owning to running low of food supplies, they cooked it and ate it. The miracle happened as the weak sailors became stronger and rejuvenated. Since then, edible bird’s nest (EBN) become well-known to its medical value and prestige.

My Experiences in EBN industry and How I Got my Internship Opportunity
I am interested to healthcare industry especially
EBN because now it is not only consumed by Chinese but other races and westerns.
Besides, I am knowledgeable in this industry because I had been dealing with
raw EBN and the processing process since I was 15 years old. The application of my intern in Sunshine Region Sdn Bhd was easy because I had the outstanding
knowledge and passion in EBN that amazed the company director, Mr. Low Siang
Tim. I was so lucky enough because I aimed for this company and the only company that I applied and got the application letter from the company just before my final exam. My marvelously internship journey about EBN started in Sunshine Region Sdn Bhd on 29/12/2014.
