Business Proposal and Redemption Vouchers
This week was my last week in Sunshine Region Sdn Bhd. To be honest, I felt sad and not willing to leave. Hence, my inner voice talked to myself that I would like to do something that really contributed a lot to the company. I was invited by Mr Tim, director of the company to join the meeting. In the meeting, we had come out a strategy that would generate continuous income for the company especially toward the potential customers.
My objective for my
last week here was writing a proposal about this strategy and did the related
design. I got freaking motivated about
this project because this would be my last memory and work did in my internship
journey. The project that we had come out was the redemption vouchers. The redemption
vouchers worked by allow the customers that bought more than RM 300 to redeem
our company products which are 2 bottles of honey sugar bird’s nest drink each
month for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th month after the
month of purchase. A lot of terms and condition had written down for this
redemption vouchers after further discussion to prevent fraud. For example, the
customers were prohibited to redeem the products without following the sequence
that set by us.
I had changed my report
and the terms and condition quite a lot of times after I discussed with my
supervisor. On Thursday, all designs and report were done and it was the time
to pass the document to Mr Tim, managing director to check it out. I felt
proud of myself because everything I had done was passed by Tim and he had
chosen the design draft that he wanted from me. The designs draft that selected by him had shown below :

Conclusion
From the proposal and
the strategy that I did, I had learned the ways in analyzing the market,
planning out terms and conditions and some extraordinary design skills. The strategy
that came out by us was brilliant as we focused on the customers who bought
more than RM 300 and RM 500. 2 different redemption vouchers would only be
given to whom that purchased up to RM 300 and RM 500. The customers with the
redemption vouchers could only claim their free gift after a month of purchase
which in term made them to come to our outlet again. Hence, the brand loyalty
would be created and feedback from our products could be gotten by them once
they walked back. Furthermore, they might purchase more of the bird’s nest
products after they realized the benefits of it after a month of consuming. The
salesman from the outlet had the chance to promote and boost the sale once the customers
redeemed their products.
There are numerous
benefits and strength for this strategy which I said it was too brilliant. I had
improved myself on writing a formal proposal and analyzing the market to
support the proposal that I did. In the future, I would definitely choose to be
the entrepreneur with the skills of writing proposal and analyzing the market. Besides,
I got the design skills which make me more competitive. In short, during my
internship journey, I got tired of the life of workers. In order to be rich and
had freedom, start up a business is the must.
